Contractors Umbrella Company employs its contract worker(s), and so assumes all responsibilities for the individual - relieving the recruitment agency of all employment related obligation(s).

All contractor employees have a written contract complying with s1-7 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 (ERA) and the Employment Act 2002.

Contractors Umbrella Company's over-arching employment contract specifically tailored for contractor employee workers undertaking a series of temporary assignments.

Employment contract features

  • Salary not less than National Minimum Wage.
  • Hours worked monitored to comply with Working Time Directive.

  • Verification of individual contractor employee's Right to Work.

  • The widely discredited 'dispensation' and 'scale rate' expense schemes are not offered.
  • As required by HMRC, proof of work-related expense claims required.
  • Contractor employees sign a declaration to explain & validate temporary work places.
